Job Description

As the Tech Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our platform's architecture and technical strategy. You will be responsible for developing key features, ensuring scalability and reliability, and mentoring a talented team of engineers. This is a hands-on leadership role in which you will influence the design and execution of solutions in the fintech and marketing domains. Your deep technical expertise, vision, and leadership will be essential in building a world-class platform that meets the needs of our diverse customer base.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design and architecture of the platform, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.

• Take ownership of key product features from ideation to implementation and be accountable for delivering them on time.

• Mentor and guide a growing team of developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance engineering culture.

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and business stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliver impactful solutions.

• Drive the implementation of best practices in software development, including code quality, testing, and deployment processes.

• Lead technical decision-making, evaluating new technologies, tools, and frameworks that align with our platform’s goals.

• Ensure the platform meets industry security, compliance, and performance standards, particularly in the fintech space.

• Continuously optimize system performance and ensure the platform can handle increased demand as we scale.

• Be a strong advocate for agile development practices and iterative releases, ensuring that features are delivered with speed and quality.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on backend, frontend, or full-stack technologies.

• 2+ years of experience in a technical leadership or team lead role, with a proven track record of delivering scalable systems.

• Strong expertise in developing platforms within the fintech or marketing domains or similar complex, high-demand industries.

• Proficiency with modern web technologies such as Node.js, Java, Python, or similar backend frameworks.

• Extensive experience with front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js) and building user-facing applications.

• Expertise in designing and working with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and understanding data pipelines.

• Familiarity with API design, integration, and best practices (RESTful, GraphQL, etc.).

• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

• Strong knowledge of security practices, particularly in financial data and marketing information.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to lead both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience leading teams through sprints and iterative development cycles.

Preferred Skills

• Experience building products or platforms in the fintech or digital marketing space.

• Familiarity with payment systems, financial technologies, or marketing automation platforms.

• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

• Knowledge of compliance standards like PCI-DSS, GDPR, or similar regulations affecting fintech and marketing products.

• Experience with containerization tools like Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technologies.

• Exposure to data analytics, machine learning, or AI applications in fintech or marketing.
